Friday, December 01, 2006 Back from ELDDS Training Camp: 29Nov (Wed) - 1st Dec (Fri),

Overall to say, it was FUN & I enjoyed myself drekloads!

Wednesday, we arrived at school at 0800, after our meals. Then we proceeded to the clsrms where we put our bags and settle everything peacefully. The guys slept at 2A's [♥] clsrm and the girls at 2G. Soon we went for training, it was boring at the first day, but it got really interesting in the second & the third, cos I fially had a role to play!

Not say role, but I'm appointed the Soundman, one who's incharge of the sounds' volume and timing so on so forth, it was fun lah but I got really stressed at it when Gerard scolded me.

Training hours were practically disastrous; 7 hours/day; 21 hours in total.

Lunch was gross -- packed lunch, rice expectedly cold, tofus that smelt rotten, chicken that tasted raw and hard veggies, but I still managed to wolf all the contents down, cept for the last day, there was DOUBLE rice amt, yah so I couldn't finish it, booo.

Day 1, dinner was Bbq, I'd a great time with the pengkang, it was my second time barbequing, I realise how fun it can get when barbequing, hahah! Then later at night, andrey hwaiyi & I couldn't sleep at all, so we were planning not to sleep at all.

The game we played at night was Amazing Race, it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC I tell you, though I was perspirin madly & had to run up&down around the whole school, it made me feel much more energetic and pumped up, I bet I was the only one who saidthe game was EXCELLENT, :DD

So, we chatted&chatted in the clsrm, random topics obviously, and I think we chatted till 0045 when the Sentry Duties [duties that meant spying on us whether we're asleep or not] were over. Met deborah emilia and shufen and we had a talk, not long, before we got shun into our clsrms again.

Then @ 0200+ I think, I met shufen, hwaiyi and liying, outside the staffroom, we listened to songs, heard hwaiyi's voice umpteen times and ofcourse, chatted. Andrey had already slept at that time, so it was left with hwaiyi shufen liying and I who still survived.

@ about 0350 hwaiyi and liying got really tired, so they took some winks and hwaiyi fell asleep I think. & I discovered somethg - hwaiyi sleeptalks, over ice-cream/coins/some inaudible murmurings, okay so funny.

The staffroom was extremely cold, shufen & I couldn't sleep at all, so we just stared at each other, talked sometimes and did nothing else. Okay 0515, we were nearly frozen, so I suggested a tour around the school, not a complete tour ofcourse, some places in the school were not meant to be visitted, erm not to be elaborated.

Then @ 0530 all of us got reallyreallyreally tired, so we went to sleep. HAHAH and later I woke up at like 0615? So I slept about 40 min only for the first day, it was ultra cooool! :D But my head sure ached a bit when I stood up, kinda giddy.

Day 2's breakfast was sandwiches sincerely and warmly made by seniors, totally yummy. Then went for rehearsals, from 9-5pm, lunch still the same old packed lunch boxes, but with diff meat. Later at night, the supposedly planned Nightwalk was changed to Captain's Ball. Oh has been a year plus since I last played, hehheh.

Ps: shufen sprained her ankle while playing, I could see that she was holding back her tears, take care shufen! You're gonna be alright. ;D, just bear for a couple of days will do, heys!

Then there was this i/ysabel, basketballer and a prefect, she borrowed my slippers! hahah, actually it was me who lent it to her, so I walked barefeet when I walked down to the toilet. :D Shower was fabulous, the water was cooling!

Oh & I find the conversation between izzaty and I funny:

Izzaty: Yongkian, why do you keep wearing school pants?
Yongkian: Oh cause I loveeeee school!
Izzaty: HAHAHA you should wear your home pants, but nvm, you look nice wearing this too!

LAUGHLAUGHLAUGH, :D

Later at night, it was a frightening experience for me, and I seriously don't with to elaborate any further, sorry for any inconvenience caused, ;D

& soon, Y/Isabel returned me my slippes and I could sleep again! The second day night I wore SOCKS to sleeep! My feet were so warm & soothing, herher. Again, I slept late, but not as late as day 1, I slept at 0400+, cos I was _________________. Sorry no elaboration either, :x

Day 3, last day of ELDDS Training Camp, we rehearsed and rehearsed, the process was tiring, not for me but for the actors, & Gerard's temper wasn't that good cos he didn't sleep the whole day, his fiery temper yah. :D

Therefore he scolded us when we made stupid&ridiculous mistakes, I got scolded too, cause he said I wasn't alert enough, how sad, nvm, I got cues from liying, oh thank you so much liying! :D

On Day 3, Mdm Lee's coming to take a look @ our skit. At first, we made a mess and expected sarcasm and bad comments from her. But after a round of advice given by Gerard&cangning, the actors strived themselves again and acted in their most natural self, & Mdm Lee gave unexpectedly good comments, even ms tang, whose expectations were always high and not easily satisfied, said that we've exceeded her thinking of expectation.

OKAY we were so super super happy alright! :D

Oh & amanda's back from Vietnam already, I saw her today, haha!

After that all of us claimed prizes for Amazing Race. hwaiyi guanwei & I got the second prize, timeouts! :DD CoOoOoOl aren't they? Hahha. Then the camp drew to an end, I submitted a reflection, it included that I felt this camp's the most worth going of all! Ah I'd really like another ELDDS Camp, but no more of ___________ & __________ [they include a thing & a person].

Yah and so kexi, no pictures were taken, so this post's a boring one, hope you guys have the patience to read it, hahaha! :D

I'm starting to love camps!
But I got so tired I nearly dozed off during rehearsals lots of times ;D
& the packing stuff, so troublesome!

Heyhey goOoOoOoOd news, I didn't lose anything in this camp! I used to lose several things, even my clothes during my other previous camps, not zero thingah was lost, I'm so glad&proud of myself. ;D

There're lots of zits on my forehead not, I gotta apply some cream to get rid of 'em, they look ugly, seriously, argh.

I can't believe I blogged right after I came back home & showered, :D
